Time-Reporting

Time2Emphasize is a Progressive Web App (PWA) and does not need any installation. Nevertheless when opened on a smartphone it is optionally offered to be installed as an App a.k.a. "Add-To-Homescreen".

Time2Emphasize Server

Time2Emphasize is also available for self-hosting on your own server via an installation script. The service will automatically install any updates. You will need a hosting provider with your own domain, your own server, or a cloud service. The following requirements must be met:

• Apache enabled with .htaccess
• PHP 8.5 (preferably non-threadsave) is installed
• An SSL certificate is installed (i.e., HTTPS is working)
• The following PHP extensions are enabled: mbstring, gd, openssl, pdo_sqlite, zip

The PHP script for self-hosting can be downloaded here. Then, upload the install.php file to your web space in the target folder (e.g., /httpdocs/) and open it in your browser (e.g., at 'https://my-domain/install.php'). If the installation is successful, Time2Emphasize should then be usable on your domain. If errors occur during installation, the browser output may provide clues to the cause of the error.
